LEESBURG, Va. (September 28, 2023) Loudoun Medical Group, P.C. (LMG) and imaging partner, LMG Imaging Center, (LMG IC), are proud to announce LMG Advanced Imaging Services, (LMG AIS), a newly renovated 2,400 square foot facility housing cutting edge diagnostics is now exclusively available to LMG patients. The public is invited to attend an open house on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at 19500 Sandridge Way, Suite 460, in Leesburg, Virginia from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. A ribbon cutting ceremony, hosted by the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce will be held promptly at 5:30 p.m. With a commitment to delivering accessible, affordable, and accredited care, LMG AIS aims to revolutionize medical imaging service delivery for patients of all ages.
“As healthcare costs continue to rise, LMG remains steadfast in our commitment to providing integrated value-based care,” Mary Beth Tamasy, CEO, Loudoun Medical Group said. “LMG continues to develop ancillary support services, such as LMG AIS, to strengthen and streamline patient care, reduce costs and support LMG providers as they help our patients lead heathier lives.” Since receiving Certificate of Public Need (COPN) approval (including a 3.4% indigent care condition), LMG has invested over $2.5 million dollars towards facility renovations and advanced technology acquisitions.
LMG AIS is now equipped with a GE Ultrasound Unit and the Fujifilm Scenaria View Computed Tomography (CT) system, a premier scanner with an advanced Cardiac Motion Correction feature, called Cardio StillShot. LMG continues to partner with Reston Radiology Consultants (RRC) to staff and manage LMG AIS and the LMG IC, to ensure seamless care coordination and the highest level of precision in every diagnostic procedure. On-site advanced diagnostics allows the same group of board-certified radiologists to read and report on images during a patient’s critical surveillance period, which can expedite diagnosis and treatment.

Loudoun County officials project Loudoun’s population will increase by 118,000 or 28%, by 2040, making this Virginia’s third-largest jurisdiction, and the fastest growing jurisdiction in the Washington, D.C region.

In addition to being selected as a national showcase site for Fujifilm, LMG Advanced Imaging Services was also granted accreditation by the American College of Radiology for a period of three years. ACR accreditation is recognized as the gold standard in medical imaging and helps assure LMG patients receive the highest level of image quality and safety. Quality imaging studies are a critical part of LMG’s multidisciplinary approach to medical care and an essential tool in the early diagnosis and treatment of many types of cancer.
