Craig M. Ellison, M.D. joined Digestive Disease Physicians in 2003 after completing his Gastroenterology fellowship at the Lahey Clinic, Tufts University Medical School, in Massachusetts. Before Fellowship, he completed his residency in Internal Medicine at The Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School, in Boston. His Medical Degree is from the George Washington University School of Medicine in 1997.

Originally from California he played four years of NCAA Division I Tennis on Scholarship at the University of California at Santa Barbara where he majored in Economics. He now lives in Northern Virginia with his wife, also a physician, and their 3 children. He enjoys golf and tennis.

His main GI interests are GERD, colon cancer screening and hepatobiliary diseases.
