Dr. Seth Tuwiner specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological conditions of the peripheral and central nervous system. Some of his areas of interest and expertise include peripheral neuropathy, carpal tunnel syndrome, sensory disturbances, muscle disorders, myasthenia gravis, ALS, neck pain, low back pain, epilepsy, seizures, stroke, multiple sclerosis, tremor, Parkinson’s disease, and Alzheimer’s disease.
Some of the services offered at Neurology Consultant Services include visual, auditory, and somatosensory evoked potential studies, electromyography (EMG), routine electroencephalography (EEG) studies, 24-72 hour electroencephalography studies, electronystagmography (ENG), and carotid ultrasound evaluation.
Dr. Tuwiner completed his Neuromuscular and Neurophysiology training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia and ultimately established his private practice in Lansdowne in February 2008. Board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) and the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine (ABEM), Dr. Tuwiner has also earned three sub-specialty certifications through the ABPN: vascular/stroke neurology, clinical neurophysiology, and neuromuscular medicine.
Dr. Tuwiner is featured in the 2014 edition of Top Docs Washingtonian Magazine. He was also nominated as a Rising Star in the Washington Post Magazine 2013 Super Doctors Rising Stars Edition.
